Goal: To take home a sterling silver Necklace (retail value of 59 .00!!) to show off and make more for holidays and gifts for your family and friends!

Class Description:

Learn how to make this charming scalloped necklace from scratch!!  We begin with with a demonstration on the proper way to hold and use hand tools.  Learn about temper, gauge, and strength  of wire used to make jewelry, and when to use which one!

You will use these components to make your necklace:

t Eye Pins   t  Bead Wraps    t  Jump Rings    t  Wire Closure

I will provide copper practice wire and jewelry tools. You will have several gemstone colors to choose from, including  pale amethyst, golden tiger eye, purple iolite, citrine, black onyx, freshwater pearls, pink rose quartz, orange carnelian, and assorted Swarovski crystals.  You may also select and bring your own stones to class, if you prefer. 

Tools:   Please note that the surface of household tools is grooved, and will leave scratches and bite marks on your wire.  Tools made especially for jewelry have a smooth inner surface so that your precious metals do not get scratched or nicked.
