I
know for a long time, I
thought that they did
not go together.
If you wanted material
success, then you were
not very spiritual.
What I learned is
that its not what you
have, or how successful
you are. The
temptation with having
acquired financial
security is in deciding
that means anything but
that fact that you have
succeeded financially.
It doesn't mean you're a
good person, and it
doesn't mean that you're
better than anyone else.
The purpose of
material abundance in an
enlightened world, is to
share that abundance
with others. In
fact, the more you have,
the more you become
willing to share, the
more the Universe will
send your way!
Live a river, flowing
in harmony, giving to
all in it's path:
moisture for
vegetation, life giving
water to the forest
creatures, grinding and
churning debris into new
soil. It gives in
every way. What
happens when someone
builds a damn, and the
water no longer flows?
It either becomes
STAGNANT, or it BEGINS
TO FLOW IN ANOTHER
DIRECTION! It may
sustain the local
balance for a while, but
a LOT of it will have to
be filtered off, or it
will simply back up and
begin to destroy that
which it used to
nourish.
Such it is when we
hold on to money and
interfere with the flow.
If you are in a position
that you desperately
NEED money, then you
must stimulate and
signal the Universe of
your understanding of
this principal by
starting the flow.
Learn to give.
I know its difficult
when you feel as though
you do not have much to
offer, and I have been
there many times
personally. But
giving comes in all
forms, and the Universe
sees them all as GIVING.
Money is simply a token
that our society has
agreed to exchange in
return for your TIME.
You can turn your time
and energy into money.
You can pick flowers
from your garden, and
take them to a friend.
You can give your time
and energy to a worthy
cause. You can
help the sick or the
elderly. You can
teach something
that you know to others
that would like your
knowledge! The secret is
in the GIVING.
